Emerging from the pandemic small restaurants had a problem. Few people were eating out regularly. 48% of Millennials were eating out less. 64% said that they needed a special occasion to dine out. As the brand that created the term Shop Small we needed to act and in a big way.
So, we created the Every Dish Has Its Day program. In it we highlighted a new dish or cuisine every day and turned our hungry followers to local faves. Our success was immediate which caused the need to create a new campaign to tally how many restaurants people were visiting called “Every Resy Counts” in which every million reservations unlocked donations for small businesses struggling through the pandemic. In the end we counted 6 million Resy reservations and created the busiest day ever on the app.
